Alexander Logie

Board member, CVMR (Texas)

Mr. Logie is a member of the board of directors of CVMR (Texas). He served as Executive Vice President, Global Debt Derivative Group at Citibank Canada, over 12 years where he oversaw the proprietary trading and risk-management of the bank’s multi-billion-dollar exposure in currency and interest rate swaps and their associated hedges. Customers included central banks, federal and provincial governments, multinational corporations, other money center banks as well as Wall Street investment banks.
 
Mr. Logie was the co-founder of Crane Capital Group, a multinational corporate finance corporation focused on hedge funds, venture capital funds and private equity funds. Crane Capital was acquired by Bear Stearns Asset Management in 2008.
 
Mr. Logie was the co-founded of Peak 6891 LLC., a Rare Earth Elements project located in Texas, which was acquired by Tactical Resources Inc. Prior to that Alex was the interim CFO and acting COO for Natura Naturals which was acquired by Tilray (NASDAQ: TLRY). 

Mr. Logie graduated from Upper Canada College in 1978 and completed his Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1982.
