Dr. Clarisse Ndjungu, is the Director of Operation for CVMR (D.R.Congo).
She obtained her Ph.D. in Economic Development from Howard University, Washington, DC in 2020.
Dr. Ndjungu has won many honorary awards, including Mitsubishi Leadership Award Scholarship; Ernst & Young Scholarship, United Methodist Scholarship; National Dean’s List; Congressional Black Caucus Scholarship; and United Negro College Fund Scholar.
She speaks English, French, Swahili, Creole and Lingala. She has worked in the United States, Central and South Africa and the Caribbean.
Her work experience includes Director of Operations at SilverHouse Logistics (SHL), LLC in DRC; Senior Program Analyst at International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) in Zimbabwe; deputy Chief of Party Operations at Tetra Tech ARD (USAID/LOKAL+) in Haiti; financial Accounting Superintendent at Banro Corporation/ Namoya Mining SA, in Bukavu, DRC; research Associate at Center for Urban Progress, Howard University.
