Brian McCollow Is a member of the board of directors of CVMR (Texas) Inc.
He helps leaders navigate complex commercial and diplomatic affairs by providing sustained high profile strategic support and deal pursuit through the global boutique advisory firm of Infinity Squared. Having advised senior business executives, investors, diplomats, and headers of state, Mr. McCollow has lived and worked in more than 50 countries across five continents, with broad experience in emerging markets. He serves on the boards of various smart city and data analytics startups and supports multinational corporations and investment funds through project design, finance and implementation.
Mr. McCollow is frequently called on to provide an interdisciplinary approach to political and policy objectives, large scale investment structuring, sovereign wealth fund planning, and public-private partnerships. He maintains global financial and banking relationships and has negotiated complex financing arrangements ranging from a multi-million-dollar venture capital backed environmental remediation startup in the Niger Delta to a multi-billion-dollar sovereign debt rescue of Africa’s largest copper mine. Mr. McCollow helped establish a state-owned enterprise governance oversight mechanism in West Africa, reporting to the president and streamlining revenue derived to the state from its investment portfolio. In South America, he helped establish an interagency coordination unit that quadrupled foreign direct investment and doubled humanitarian assistance while supporting a long-term peace negotiation with rebel groups. At American University in Washington, DC, he established a cross-sector leadership program bringing Senior Executive Service leaders from across US Government together with foreign government, corporate and civil society leaders to sharpen their collaboration skills and practice solving wicked problems transcending cultural and sectoral boundaries.
As a former Co-Chair of the US-Chad Investment Council, Brian supported the promotion of trade, investment, and business exchange between the United States, the Republic of Chad and the wider Sahel Region. In his private capacity, Brian participates in various advisory boards for corporate and nonprofit entities in the US and around the world.
