Michael C. Hargett, P.Mgr.
Mr. Hargett is the President of CVMR(USA) Inc. and a member of the board of directors CVMR Corporation. He manages the application of metal refining technologies using proprietary processes for US Government and Industrial customers. His responsibilities include sponsorship, strategic planning and leadership of new products, sourcing of materials, manufacturing and assimilation of technologies into new programs. He has served on the board of CVMR over 36 years.
His work experience includes:
General Director of Anchimeric Associates, a Marketing and Management consulting group. In his position he supported the utility, aerospace, aeronautical, government, and other emerging technology industries.
He served as Director of Business Development for QinetiQ-NA, Inc., responsible for strategic technology programs including mitigation of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and Chemical
Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Enhanced Conventional Weapons (CBRNE), Hydrogen Economy, and Asset Recovery.
Previous employment assignments have included positions of Director of Marketing and Business Development, Teledyne Brown Engineering - Environmental
Programs; Vice President, Sales and Marketing, MicroBac International, Austin Texas; Vice
President, Sales and Marketing, Canonie Environmental Services, Dallas, Texas; Vice President for Remediation Services, Enserch (Ebasco) Environmental Corporation, Norcross, Georgia.
The U.S. Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)named Mr. Hargett to the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
The Baldrige Award is the nation’s highest honor for organizational innovation and performanceexcellence. As an examiner, he is responsible for reviewing and evaluating applications submitted for the Baldrige Award from industry, professional, trade, education, health care and nonprofit (including government) organizations from across the United States. Examiners meet the highest standards of qualification and peer recognition, demonstrating competencies related to customer focus, communication, ethics, action orientation, team building and analytical skills.
Mr. Hargett has a Masters in Microbiology from North Carolina State University Graduate School, Raleigh,NC
