THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC ENTERS A NEW ERA OF MINERAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT: HISTORIC MINING PARTNERSHIP SIGNED WITH THE CVMR® GROUP, DRIVEN BY THE VISION OF PRESIDENT TOUADÉRA AND THE EXPERTISE OF MINISTER BENAM

The Central African Republic is entering a decisive phase in the transformation of its mineral wealth. Under the strong leadership of the President of the Republic, H.E. Prof. Faustin-Archange Touadéra, and through the confidence placed in the Minister of Mines and Geology, Rufin Benam Beltoungou, major initiatives are being implemented to strengthen the national economy and position the country as a rising player in the global mining sector.

In this context, a strategic partnership has been signed between the Government of the Central African Republic and the Canadian group CVMR®. The agreement covers exploration, exploitation, and refining of highly strategic minerals including uranium, coltan, copper, gold, and nickel. The 25-year partnership begins with a comprehensive evaluation of the country’s geological potential and integrates an innovative investment platform designed to mobilize international financing for mining development.

This groundbreaking public-private partnership represents the most ambitious industrial initiative ever launched in the country. A dedicated subsidiary, CVMR® Central Africa, will oversee operational activities. Furthermore, the uranium component will be managed by Uranium Power Corporation, a wholly U.S.-owned subsidiary of CVMR®, internationally recognized for its world-class engineering and technological expertise.

More than a contract, this agreement is a transformational development catalyst. It includes:

The establishment of domestic refining facilities,

The creation of thousands of direct and indirect jobs,

Technical capacity building and training programs for Central African youth,

Deployment and transfer of advanced technologies,

And an innovative, transparent financial mechanism to secure investment flows and ensure responsible resource management.

This is a truly win-win partnership, strategically designed to drive industrialization, strengthen economic sovereignty, modernize the national mining sector, and establish lasting prosperity.

A new chapter begins for the Central African Republic. The path is now clear: converting underground mineral wealth into national wealth and economic opportunities for all citizens.
