President Marcos Jr. and CVMR Executives Explore Advance Critical Minerals Processing Approaches In the Philippines
Vancouver, Canada – July 3rd, 2026 – CVMR® Corporation’s Chairman and CEO, Mr. Kamran M. Khozan, and CVMR®’s President, Mr. Michael Hargett, participated in a mining roundtable conference on mining and critical minerals discussion chaired by the Right Honourable Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The meeting was dedicated to discuss “Strategic Investment in Modern Mining and Advanced Refining of Critical Minerals of Philippines” to evaluate the opportunities of taking the mineral processing strategies of this resourceful country to the next level. According to Right Honourable Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., Philippines is now ready to open the doors to new investments and the most advanced mining and refining technologies to equip the country with in house processing capability to support the domestic industries and to direct the exported refined minerals to the international industrial downstream.
“The Philippines is certainly open for business, ready for partnerships, and committed to create a long-term value to responsible resource development and sustainable growth,” Mr. Marcos said. “As we continue to strengthen our economic ties, we look forward to working with Canadian partners in transforming opportunity into tangible investments, innovation, and shared progress,” he added.
CVMR® Corporations has been operating in The Philippines for approximately 20 years and holds two nickel mining concessions in Samar and Palawan. The company intends to expand its operations in the country and to build one of its proprietary vapour metallurgy refineries in the Philippines. CVMR®’s strategy was welcomed by the Philippines government and the encouraged the company to act promptly and offered his support to make these additional investments possible.
